INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION
All registration for the Homewood Soccer Program will be done online by the player’s parents. Coaches and Team Managers will also register online. The goals are to make registration more convenient, reduce errors in copying information, and to offer credit card payments as the primary option. Anyone wishing to register that does not have access to a computer should contact David Putman, Soccer Director, at 979-8974 for assistance.
After reading these instructions you will be ready to select the Registration link at the bottom of this page.
Players that registered for either the fall 2007 or spring 2008 season can access most of the required information already available in the registration system by using the “Username” and “Password” that was created during your initial registration. If you have lost or forgotten this information, follow the instructions on the registration web site.
Players registering with the online registration system for the first time will be asked to create a “Username” and a “Password”. Once you have created these you will use them for all future registrations and for any time you come back to the system to make changes. Therefore, pick a Username and Password that will be easy to remember and write it down. Registrations are based on families so each family has one Username/Password.
You will be asked to provide a “Primary Family Email Address”. Please pick one that is checked regularly. This address will be used to provide families with the monthly newsletter, other information updates, notices on weather related field closures, and important team messages.
You will be required to pick the “Play Level” for each child that you register. Homewood has three choices:
Blue Teams-Division I or Division II: This level is for select teams that are put together through try-outs. This level begins for players U-11 and older. Currently Homewood is fielding a U-15 Boys select team in Division I and all other select teams will play in Division II. If the player has been notified that she/he has been selected to play on a Blue Team pick either Division I or II as the appropriate Play Level.
Red Teams: These are Homewood Recreational Teams. All U-9 and U-10 teams as well as older teams that use an evaluation process, not a try out, are Red Teams.
Patriot League: The Play Level for players aged 3 through 7. The availability of Partiots for 3 year olds is new.
All families registering players will be required to agree to abide by a "Statement of Expectations for Parents" and to sign that agreement electronically.
In addition, any parent registering a player for a Blue Team will have to agree to and sign electronically the following two commitment agreements:
1. AYSA Division I or II Player and Parent Commitment
2. Homewood Parent-Player Expectations of Blue Team Players
Parents are strongly encouraged to read these agreements carefully and to print them for future reference.
After all family players are registered, you will be presented with a statement of the amount owed to Homewood Soccer Club. On that same page you will also be offered the opportunity to make a donation to the Soccer Club. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and will help the Program to grow and improve.
Payment may be made by Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card) or check.
The Homewood Soccer Club has a Scholarship Policy to assist players needing financial aid. The Club also will allow extended payment programs and family discounts. If you intend to apply for any of these programs indicate on the online registration system that payment will be made by check. After completing the registration contact David Putman, Soccer Director, at HomewoodSoccer@aol.com or 979-8974 in order to complete your payment plan. Your registration will not be effective until a payment plan is approved.
Please note the following important Homewood Soccer Club rule:
No player will be assigned to a team, or allowed to practice, until all required fees are paid. The only exceptions will be for players who make arrangements under the Scholarship Policy mentioned above.
