Despite several delays for thunderstorms and lightning the Trussville United Classic was a great weekend for HWSC teams! With a total of 5 teams competing, 4 finished as Champions for their respective divisions! Our 5th team that narrowly finished third was our Everton 08 Boys who tied both the 1st and 2nd place team in their division. Great work coaches, parents, and especially the players for representing us so well!

The Freedom 07 Girls coached by Abbey Clark finished top of the table on points. They played 3 matches and won all 3 finishing the tournament with 7 goals scored and only 1 conceded. These girls did a great job playing up an age group against girls that were mostly older than them!

The Inter Milan 07 Boys coached by Andy Reid finished off the weekend with 4 wins and a Championship. They conceded just 4 goals while scoring 22! Playing up at U10 the boys faced older players and still held their own. Great job boys!

The Eagles 03 Boys coached by Ian Cavanah finished as Champions for the U13 Red bracket. They finished the tournament with a record of 2 wins and 1 draw scoring 6 goals and conceding just the 1. Great way to end the season boys!
