The Freedom 05 Boys coached by Tim Tincher hit the road for a tournament up in Knoxville, TN. The boys competed in the Crush Crossbar Challenge in the Gold Flight for the U11/12 bracket. The boys lost their opening match 3-2 to KFC Crush 05 Barcelona before rallying in their second match to beat KSA 05 4-2. This placed them in the semi finals against FC Alliance 2006 Boys Black. The boys won the match 4-1 setting up a rematch in the championship game against KFC Crush 05 Barcelona. This go around the boys wouldn't be denied and got revenge for their loss by winning 2-1.
